Teleconference – Conscious Care Giving: Understanding, Reducing, and Preventing Compassion Fatigue

Learning Objectives:
- Develop an understanding of the definition of compassion fatigue: What is it? What is it not? How does it differ from burnout?
- Identify 3 ways to prevent compassion fatigue.
- Identify whether you are at risk for compassion fatigue.
Handouts: Posted on the BCTRA website as well as a self-test for members to do ahead of time.
