WEBINAR: An Introduction to CARF Aging Services Accreditation

This free webinar will familiarize participants with CARF, the benefits of CARF accreditation and the survey process for organizations of all sizes. This introductory presentation is designed for Aging Services providers that are not currently CARF-accredited or would like to become familiar with the CARF accreditation process, including staff and management of the following types of organizations:
• Adult Day Services
• Aging Services Networks
• Assisted /Retirement Living
• Person-Centred Long Term Care (Nursing Home) Communities
• Home and Community Services
• Case Management
• Independent Senior Living
By the end of this workshop, participants will increase their understanding of:
• CARF’s mission, vision, values and the concept of ‘moral ownership’
• the field-driven standards development process
• the consultative accreditation process
• the value and outcomes of CARF accreditation
• the fees and time investment associated with CARF accreditation
• aging services programs and format of the applicable standards
• the steps to accreditation
