Webinar: Regulation of Therapeutic Recreation in BC: Past, Present and Future. 

 

Synopsis: Based on a Service Learning Project completed by Laura Benson, the purpose of this session is to educate members on regulation in BC and its implications for therapeutic recreation. This will be accomplished by: reviewing BCTRA’s past efforts toward regulation; explaining the current state of regulation in BC; and, providing recommendations towards the future regulation of Therapeutic Recreation in BC.

 

Objectives: 

  1. After this session participants, will be able to define key terms related to regulation.
  2. After this session participants, will be able to describe the Societies Act.
  3. After this session participants, will be able to describe the Health Professions Act.
