This brief review of the literature summarizes the findings of several studies examining the effect of tai chi interventions on the physical functioning of older adults diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.  A Knowledge Translation Plan (KTP) that describes how the presented findings can be used by recreation therapists to develop evidence-based interventions is provided in both text and graphic format.
