Resident Activity Aide

The Resident Activity Aide adds to the quality of life of people who live at Mount St. Mary Hospital by carrying out an a varied activity program for the residents at the hospital. We are a 200 bed facility providing complex care to our residents and are located in downtown Victoria.

Grade 12, completion of a recognized activity assistant program plus two (2) years’ recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Valid Class 4 BC Driver’s License.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to deal with others effectively.

Ability to organize work.

Ability to teach.

Ability to operate related equipment.

Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
