Activities Assistant

You’ll play a crucial role in planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational wellness programs for the assisted living and independent living residents at Hallmark on the Park and Hallmark on the Lake communities. With a focus on meeting individual needs and fostering a sense of community, you’ll work alongside a dynamic and positive team to create engaging and enjoyable experiences for our residents. You’ll support residents in their transition to the community, actively participating in programs and activities, documenting resident needs and interests, and occasionally driving the Baptist Housing bus for off-site activities. You’ll coordinate and schedule both internal programs and external outings and prepare an activity calendar that considers residents’ activation, life skills, and recreational and social needs. You’ll be an ambassador for Baptist Housing by consistently working in alignment with our values. Your role is a permanent full-time position (32–40 hours per week) with some flexibility in hours and days and some required flexibility to work around special events. While not required, holding a diploma in therapeutic recreation is considered an asset.
